Keith Knowles and the Everlife Home story.
Some folks just have building genes in their DNA. Keith Knowles, EverLife Home founder, is one of them. Keith grew up and apprenticed with a true craftsman, a father who leveraged a fine wood furniture hobby into a general contracting business. From age 12 Keith worked in his father’s firm, Robert Knowles Construction. During that time Keith was blessed to learn the construction trade from excavation and foundations to the fine finishing of a new home or remodel.
After graduating from Whitworth College with a marketing degree, Keith decided he’d apply his skills to the start-up high tech arena. The industry wasn’t as satisfying to him as home construction, so in 2005 he returned to Robert Knowles Construction. His involvement led the company to win a Silver Merit Award for Whole Home Remodel from the Portland Metro Home Builders Association. From there a stint within the solar industry winning awards like Trade Contractor of Year 2011 set Keith on a future course of client and industry accolades.
Instilled with craftsmanship and integrity, in 2017 Keith founded EverLife Home,
a business run on biblical principles. The organization’s aim is creating forever homes for clients within the Custom Home, Remodeling, Aging in Place and ADU – Accessory Dwelling Unit specialties. In pursuing that vision, Keith holds Certified Aging in Place (CAPS) and Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Specialist designations.

Andrew Thiessen and the Everlife Home story.
EverLife Home started off as many small companies do - two dedicated carpenters working out of the back of their truck. Keith Knowles founded the company in 2017 and hired his first employee, Andrew Thiessen. Andrew was brought on as
an apprentice carpenter, and with dedicated effort he became General Manager.
Andrew ignited his passion for craftsmanship when we was eleven, helping construct theater sets for his church. When he was hired on at EverLife Home,
it reignited his passion that other jobs could never seem to meet. Keith gave him
a place to prove himself and grow, which fueled the ideals that helped make EverLife Home the company it is today. Andrew and Keith are set on creating
a place that helps employees grow and become part of the EverLife Home Family.
EverLife Home may not be stationed out of the back of a pick up truck anymore, but the comradery and dedication of the team still ring true. We are now a family of over ten employees fully dedicated to helping you create your forever home.

We are guests in your home. We treat your home as if it was ours. If for some reason we miss the quality benchmark we'd desire for our own home, we'll change course to meet or exceed our own high standards.

If something about the project seems off course, we'll shine a light on it by speaking truthfully.

We keep our word and don't over promise. When it comes to project schedules, processes, and outcomes, our individual commitments support the team in reaching goals.
We work safely, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
We adhere to the strictest code requirements and environmental safety regulations. This is important for everyone's safety, as well as our integrity.
We do the right thing and own the problems we encounter.
If anything needs adjustment, replacement, or rework, the responsible team member owns it. If they can't make it right, they alert the appropriate person so corrective action can be taken.

They completed three projects for us over the last 2 years, the largest being a major remodel on a 1950's ranch house down to the studs.
