Our clients moved into a single-level home in an active adult golf-course community to enhance their lifestyle and be closer to their kids. The husband, being in a wheel chair, needed enhanced accessibility into and around the home. The wife also wanted a warm, inviting decor that captured the magic of their former home. Accessibility enhancements include a roll-in shower, wheelchair accessible toilet area with a washlet toilet seat, easy access vanity cabinet with handles on the counter top allowing the husband to stand while grooming, a toe-kick night light and a stair lift for access into the home. Decor included a new stone fireplace with wood mantel and open shelving with LED lighting.
